But what about Shrove Tuesday? An official holiday based on eating pancakes on a Tuesday?? Okay the holiday isn't ABOUT eating pancakes on a Tuesday BUT the tradition IS eating pancakes and it's always on a Tuesday. What's a girl to do?

[note: Shrove Tuesday is the day before Ash Wednesday, the first day of lent. Traditionally during lent you weren't supposed to have eggs or sugar in the house and pancakes were an easy way to use all that up without wasting it, and so began the eating of pancakes on this particular Tuesday.]
